Sports Car Designer Nov 14, 2009
By Lee R. Bowen A great product for ages 7 through adult. Easy to use, but with enough choices and options that it can keep you occupied for days. Great gift for the car enthusiast.

Very addicting distraction! Sep 07, 2009

This designer is more a toy than a designing program - but what a fun toy it is!
It allows you to design a side view of any car shape you want. One of my favs is a truckish thing I did one night at 3AM.
It is not a simplified CAD program. It is two dimentional but some of the details are quite amusing. Like driver, rollbar, and engine placement.
If you are designing your own sports car - this will help you with the overall side view shaping - but it won't help you with suspension pick-up points and geometry or weight balance calculations.
It is fun but not factual.

Basic; easy and mostly for fun Sep 04, 2009
By Lawrence Bird This will never replace AutoCad, nor does it purport to... But especially to entertain younger folks like my early-teens grandson, (and who has recently discovered Corvettes, Porsches, Lamborghinis and Ferraris and is just getting interested in "designing" their own car) it'll occupy many hours... very easy to use, it is limited to mostly variations on the basic sheet metal as well things such as window, wings and vent placement, but if I'd have had this when I was 12-15 years old you'd never have gotten me off the computer... It's a serious daydream feeder !!!

A great introduction to car design Dec 28, 2010

Take it for what it is; a simple software to initiate yourself to car design. Do that and you will enjoy the software. My son loves it! and has produced some very cool designs. I use it myself for quick sketches to log my ideas and experiment with small changes. Worth the money.

entertaining Jan 30, 2011
By Rebekki When my son grows up, he wants to be a car designer. When he is playing his car video games, he spends more time designing the cars then he does on the track racing said car. I saw this software and thought it would be a winner. He has played with it a few times and designed a few cars, but doesn't play with it as often as I thoght he would. Perhaps as he gets older and his patience grows he will use it more. He is 11 now and doesn't like to start from scrath on the car, he just likes to design the looks of the car, not the car itself. I still gave it 4 stars because it is what it said it would be and install was easy.
