Easy to use for a simple estate Sep 26, 2009
By LDS Like Turbo Tax this program is easy to use. Just follow the steps and you can have a will prepared in an afternoon. If you get tired of working on it save it and it will come back to where you left off. It has helpful hints and suggestions of sights to go out to if yo have questions it doesn't answer. You tell it where you live and it works around your state's laws. It will help you make a living trust and a living will. If your estate is small and not a lot of people involved in your inheritance this program should work for you and it sure is a lot cheaper than seeing a lawyer.

Generally well written except for one glaring omission: there is no place to list the property to be included in a will! The example will differs from the steps given in composing a will. The complicated way of working around this error is not explained in either the online or printed manual.

If you don't have anything complex - like multi-million dollar estate, small business or bunch of trusts - this is an excellent tool for creating a basic will, durable power of attorney, health care directive and a directory of all your finances for survivors.

I love this product. It takes you step-by-step into quickly organizing and establishing your legal will and trusts. It became a real boon to our family when we were trying to settle my late aunt's medical proxy and estate which might have been a legal quagmire for us had we not used this product.
