Finally! Oct 03, 2008

My Mom is 86 and has macular degeneration. She has touch typed for years, but can't see the keyboard to put her fingers on the right keys, and has trouble making corrections, finding backspace, etc. She loves this keyboard, and I was really pleased to see several hot buttons to take her directly to e-mail, a home page, etc. Easy to see - buttons are very slightly larger than standard, so her fingers are less likely to slip onto the wrong keys. Nice.

Wonderful for Macular Degeneration! Jan 18, 2009
By MissM We got this keyboard for my mother for Christmas. She has Macular Degeneration, and is slowly losing her eyesight. She has an XP system, and all I had to do was disable the driver for the old keyboard, turn the computer off, unplug the old keyboard, plug in the new one (it's USB), and turn the computer back on. It was ready to go! It comes with a disk for older systems that need the drivers manually installed.
She loves how easy it is to see the letters and characters on this keyboard. Her old keyboard was very difficult for her to see, and she had to turn on a light that was trained on the keyboard so she could see it.
Our only complaint is that the keys take a little more effort to depress than we are accustomed to, which slows down touch typing a bit. However, it may have been designed this way to cut down on accidental key depression, which may otherwise have been a bit more likely among visually impaired people.
An excellent keyboard, a much-needed design. My husband and I, though neither of us is visually impaired, will be getting the black and yellow version of this keyboard soon.

By Randolph Weese The keyboard has made such a difference in my ability to make contact on the internet.......nice large keys and the lettering is quite easy too however the larger keys are the biggest asset........I'm not fumbling for n or b any more and the numbers are easy to function. Keys U See Keyboard is great for visually impaired Sep 17, 2010

My mother was having difficulty seeing a normal keyboard with white lettering and my Dad asked me to see if I could find a keyboard that would be easier to read. I found the Keys U See Keyboard on Amazon and ordered it. My mother loves it. She says she can see what she the letters on the keyboard so much better and just raved to me about how she loves it.
