5Far better than the cheap brands  Jul 26, 2011 By Nadele Jacobs "Obakimom"
The other reviewers are right- don't buy the cheap stick-on letters for keyboards. They wear out, ooze glue, and leave a mess on your keys. I decided to follow their advice and get this brand and I'm very glad I did. I need the large letters to replace the tiny gray-on-black ones on my netbook which are almost invisible in poor light situations, which is where the netbook is usually used. These aren't meant to fit netbook keys but since my main keys are full size, I figured they would work. Most of the peripheral key stickers are too big for the netbook, but I cut them down easily. I plan to spend the extra money and buy regular size letters for those keys, but as long as I have a hint, I'm fine. Those are the keys manufacturers are always placing in odd spots, which can be quirky on a keyboard that isn't in regular use.

I marked them easy to use because they're so much easier than the other brands to apply, but it's still a little tricky to do. These are an improvement because their heavier material and better glue makes them easier to handle. Start with the outer, less important keys so you'll have the hang of it when you get to the major letter keys. Decide before you start which corner to use to align them. I like using the upper left and try to get them straight with the vertical side of the key, and I prop a stiff card paper between the key rows to help align at the top, handling them with tweezers by the lower corner while I align them. DON'T press them down until you have them all lined up just right because just one out of line will be annnoying, and why put up with that? They are easy to remove and replace until you press them down, but once stuck down, they tend to get messed up by prying them off.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned in other reviews is the slightly textured surface which isn't slick like the other brands I tried. It's less reflective and provides a good touch for the keys.

5good product  Dec 12, 2010 By Maro
I use my keyboard a lot, and the original letters wore off. I bought some cheaper stickers, and their letters wore off within a week. These are fine after 3 months of heavy use.

5Sight saver  Nov 07, 2010 By William J. Henderson "shot34ever"
I have a solid black Logitech keyboard with slim lettering, sometime very hard to see in medium light. As I age, I find it harder to see if I have my fingers on correct keys. After purchasing these, I have no trouble seeing the letters and It has been a great improvement. I would highly recommend these. They stick very well and are very visible. I have had these for six months plus and there is no sign of them coming off. Great Product!

5Lexan Large Print English Keyboard Label Overlays  Jun 24, 2011 By leslie
I put these overlays on my keys about three weeks ago. They are absolutely GREAT! I feel like I have a new computer. I don't have to search for ANY keys.
The KEY, no pun intended, in getting the right keyboard labels, is in the quality of paper and how ever they Print the lettering on. This label material is hard like a kind of metalish paper. I have heard that some of the cheaper sold labels letters just wear away quickly. I often type with my finger nails and these letters are not the type that can scratch off. I definitely recommend getting these letters if you can't see the small or wore away letters on your keyboard. Putting them on is a little tedious but easy enough. There were a few symbols that didn't fit right but it is was easy enough to cut around and make a symbol you need.
Worth the price.

5Great with GOOD eyes too.  Mar 30, 2011 By Royal "RoyalEF"
I got these for my 82 yr old mother with cataracts. She has no problem seeing the keyboard.

Before giving it to her I used it for a week. I work on PCs 5 days a week, every minute of the workday (network engineer). I found the large letters almost... relaxing... to my eyes. I wear glasses and my prescription has increased over the many years. I'm now at a point where the strength of the lenses (meant for distance) gives me problems with reading things. The larger letters "feel" physically easier on my eyes.

The stickers adhered very easily and seem to stay put quite well. Only time will tell over the years.

I'm buying more sets for my keyboards.

Honestly, looking at them I can't figure out why ALL vendors don't use large print letters. Why specifically choose smaller print that is harder for some people to see. to save ink??!
