Great Animation ; Good learning DVD Apr 26, 2009
By New Dad I bought this one for my 3 year old & she already loves it. This is a better way of teaching alphabets to children as there are no distractions through famous cartoon characters. The DVD has amazing animation where a train carries all the alphabets to a farm, lake & a town. It also features how the aphabets get manufactured in a factory. Each alphabet has a different color which my child likes to recognize too. There is background music by Mozart & background vocals repeat each alphabet as it gets displayed on the screen.
Overall, a great learning DVD for toddlers.

Good DVD, but Mar 16, 2010

This is an OK DVD, but I wish it was a little different. I know, not everyone can be happy. Here are the problems I have with it. In some parts of the video, the letters are moved too quickly, so it's hard for a child to look and comprehend what exactly is going on. They have more than one child saying the letter, so sometimes they're not on "Que" and it doesn't sound right. They can never just say, "L" instead it's "LLLLL" or should I say, "ellllle". They also show the letters, but do not tell you what the letter is more than they should. They should do that once, maybe twice. I do like how it doesn't show a lot of distracting characters. They use bright colors, which is nice, but in some scenes they should have had the letters a different color because it's too much like the background. I also wish they would have sang the ABCs at least once!

I have three kids ages 2, 3 & 4 and they love this dvd almost as much as their leap frog ones. They will all sit through the entire dvd and actually enjoy learning their abc's. I bought the set [ counting phonics and letters and I suggest you do the same. they work great hand in hand.

My son loves this dvd and it really has helped him recognize and recite his letters.
Loved it so much I am buying another! Jun 16, 2011
By MartinezFamily My son loved this movie when he was 18 months old... by his 2nd birthday he could recognize and say every capital letter of the alphabet. He watched it and played with it so much that it no longer works so I just ordered a new one for my 16 month old daughter.
