Disappointing if you need a quick responsive keyboard Aug 14, 2011

I really liked the idea of a keyboard with the larger print and was convinced to buy this keyboard due to other reviewers' description as to the feel of the keyboard. Unfortunately, there is no substitute for actually trying it out on your own. I am a rather fast typist (70+ wpm) and work as a transcriptionist, but I'm finding that I'm missing keys quite frequently because the keys require quite some "pounding" to respond. Also, after only having the keyboard for 3 weeks, the symbols are already wearing off. In fact, it took only a week for the letter "E" to already show wear. At three weeks, the S, L and N keys are also wearing out, thus the "large print" value of the keyboard already diminishing. So, all told, the keyboard is a great idea for the vision impaired (where I'm slowly headed) but this is not a good keyboard if you are also looking to be productive...that is, typing fast, accurately and often without wearing out your hands and wrists. I'm going to need to shop for a replacement keyboard in person so I can try out the keyboards. As for larger type, I'll probably be buying stickers again to apply to whatever keyboard I ultimately choose.

Great quality and very useful for my hubby May 13, 2011
By Helen I purchased this keyboard recently to help speed up my husband's recovery after major eye surgery. His job means he works on his PC all day, and without being able to see clearly enough to type on a normal keyboard he was finding the recovery time extremely frustrating.
The large print lettering (white on black background to decrease glare as much as possible) and nice smooth typing action give the keyboard a sturdy and quality feel, and it's definitely improving my hubby's frame of mind while the recovery process continues.
I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone, not just those battling with standard keyboard lettering. It's fast become our favourite keyboard, and the more I think about it the less I understand why all keyboards aren't made this way with large lettering on them. Definitely a solid quality build.

Easy to see Jan 16, 2011
By Kevin I bought this for my mom who is now legally blind. She loves it. She is now able to see enough to work on her computer, read email, etc. That means a lot now that she can't drive anymore.

By eRunner I liked everything about the keyboard except that the End key did not work so I had to return it.

Can you see me now! Jun 15, 2011

V E R Y E A S Y on the eyes, good quality keyboard. However, it may be hard for touch typists to use as there is about 20% deeper depression required on the keys to enter a character. Hunt and peck types will be OK.
